I would move Anasta to lock, not drop the bloke, its obvious his ankle is not 100%, his defence is 1st class, it would give us more mbility in the pack with one of the underperforming big logs having a stint at Newtown.

Where were yuo last year Fred, when Anasta was teh only one busting his arse, the only one caring about the results week in and out? Oh thats right, you were bagging Myles, our best player this year. Youre like a reverse hindisght machine.

Stick to bagging Freddy as a coach. Its the only one you got right so far.

Anasta is clearly not 100% and if you look past a couple of bombs, youll see a guy who is down on his fitness, and cares about the Jersey more than you will know.

You cant drop Anasta. Not with the ****wit backline we have now. id drop Perrett, SKD, and Minichiello before I would even call Anasta into the office.

Youll slam him but thats fine. We saw where it got you with Myles. Dont make me say I told you so, twice.

Melon I want a 5/8th who can play not one who merely has pride in the jersey. If Anasta is so great name one game where he has completely dominated aka Lockyer, Johns etc used to do. I cant.

Dolph. Agreed. We have a 5/8 who can play. His name is Todd Carney. As soon as Smith stops the experiment and puts the number 6 on Carney, we will see teh true potential of this raw and still developing side. My point is Anasta should not be punted. Im of teh same opinion as Rusty, Anasta should move into teh pack providing more solid defence and mobility, at the expence of one lazy coconut, Paea or FPN or even Conn who isnt offering that much in my opinion.

Totally agree mate. Id have Braith at lock. Thatway he can just be a ball runner and not worry about kicking etc.

Passion, commitment and all the rest from Anasta. Will he make a good Lock? Has he proven he can play well at lock? I think there are still alot of question marks over him, even if he moves to the forwards.

Id like to see ASAP the following:

                1. Perret

                6. Carney
                7. Jorbs - He can play a Finch@melb role - minus the shit kicks and passes into the stands. Feed Carney and let Carney control the backline.

                13. Anasta

                9. Friend and Brunton (is brunton injured, because he hasnt done anything to warrant getting dropped, he's been solid). Otherwise Kouparitsas to spell friend until friend is match fit. He looked like a little porker last Monday - too many chocolate milkshakes in between making sangas for Jim.

Easy. He is good defensively and has been defending well on his side.

I think we missed Sam Brunton against the Cowboys. He has been good for us the past few weeks and I think we needed a spark off the bench. Give Friend time though and he will be starting for us soon enough. I still think he should have been left in the NYC for a few more weeks.

Mini, SKD, Paea and FPN should be dropped on the basis theyve offered little in 9 weeks. SKD started well this year and has slowly but surely slipped into his brain explosion phases of 2009. FPN cant secure the football, and Paea looks uncertain when he runs at them. Conn makes 2 tackles and then gets stunned on his haunches - maybe the tats are weighing him down.

Perret played his best last year from fullback. Thats where he should be. Sure his handling is patchy at times, but given the room he is a much more damaging runner than in close.

Mini - what can i say? I think his mind is already on playing Rugger for Italy.

Phil Graham must be in teh backline. Again Smith has shuffled him onto the wing and is out of position. He was much surer at centre.

Anasta is crap. Its one thing to care but its another thing if he just doesnt have the talent to match his whopping salary. One of the bigggest duds we have ever purchased, along with your mate mason.

I was definately wrong about myles this year but where was this type of excellent form from him in the previous 3 years? He is a totally different player this year. Unlike you, I am happy to admit I am wrong. You continue to be wrong about ryles and mason.

Bullshit. Ive admitted I was wrong about Ryles. Even posted a dedicated thread. He has exceeded my expectations, and I gladly stated as much. Mason should have been our captain. Come and see me when he plays Origin this year.

As far as Anasta's salary is concerned, why did we pay him that much? Is it his fault our "geniuses" pay him that much? is it market forces that determine his value? Forces based on what? 3 most Over rated titles? Are our people that stupid? By your logic they must be to pay him that much.

As for Mason...I didnt sign him, Nick did. Go tell Nick he ****ed up. Or better still Bulldog Bouris.
