  • Predominantly a reserve grade side

Mini - utterly finished, highlighted the absurdity of his City selection

Perrett - a dummy half runner, and nothing more

    SKD - reserve grader

Jones - not a centre, never been a centre, why is he playing centre

    Graham - reserve grader

    Anasta - reserve grader

Carney - sharp as always, must play in the halves

    Myles - good again

    Maubs - good again

    Conn - reserve grader

    Kouparitsas - reserve grader

    JWH - good

    Ryles - not bad

Lopini - stops at the line now, running out of chances

FPN - mistakes a plenty but one of the few who can bend the line

Jaubs - reserve grader, even Milky Watts is twice the hooker he is

Friend - much better than Jaubs

Unfortunately, on last nights performance it's a pretty spot on assessment.

                No just a freakin moron....

And I am pretty sure you are wrong on that assessment also, because you dont think the little copy boy came up with that all by himself do you.....

How did Carney look sharp? He was sideways all night. If anything he needs to go back to FB.

The clincher was the 1 on 1 tackle on Watts.

Agree with most of those assessments

I do however believe ther is room for improvement with a numbre of them

                        My boy?

They both played shit, difference is that Carney could produce some individual brilliance.

Our halves had us running side to side all night while the repeat offenders did their usual jobs.

If I had to nominate a play of the game it would have to be our first try.

The ball lands in SKDs hands, just needs to fall over. Ignores the quick pass, instead runs into his own player. Then throws the worst pass that can be thrown, missing support players only to be rescued by a opportunist Koups.

Notable mentions, the rugby union pass off the ground or Carneys one on one miss on Watts. FPNs knock on was close to being laughable.

Carney should be the starting 5/8 as soon as Pearce is back.Carney looked like he could create something from halfback but with Anasta playing 5/8 nothing was going to happen.Anasta needs a spell to get fully fit,he is playing busted and offers nothing at the moment.
Dont agree about Graham being a reserve grader,he has played very well in the centres for us,last night wasn't his best game but was still the best player by far from our 1-5 positions. The try he scored last night probably would have been knocked on by any one else in our backline.

Takes On Cocks, you cop some stikk here mate, but its only cos you are pretty spot on with your assesments.

                              I agree with this one.

I will say we dont have much else depth wise left with the injuries we have. Maybe its time to bring in some youth. But Smiff hasnt much to work with IMO.

Also we havent been coached well for 5+yrs. Many of our players have only known 1st grade coaches who were shit at development. It will take a LONG time to teach these blokes any consistency, IF it ever happens.

I am not shocked by the result, we will do it plenty of times this season, play like 7 yr olds. Dont expect the miracle peoples, you will just be let down by your own expectations.

                              You know it makes sense.
