  • Adrian Hargreaves

One of the very few shining lights was this man. Playing busted, he runs at attackers and defenders like he means to rip their heads clean orf their shoulders and send them into the SCG next door.

The only time I felt like a wry smile, to compliment my painful grimace at watching mini and SKD do mysterious things with teh ball, was when this bloke turned defense into attack. Their number 8 who supposedly had a fantasic game, dropped the pill looking out for Hargreaves. He was scared shitless. They all were. You could smell it. The hit on Banana Bani was all Morley. His timing isnt perfect yet, but I reckon this bloke will be as inspirational as Adrian was in 02,03 and 04.

On another note....Myles is the only champion left in that side. There's still a lot of dead wood to shift. And I will tone it down as I recall my earlier thoughts pre-season. That was, this year will be a messy sordid rebuilding year. I dont expect as much as others here.

    I agree 'noma.
The only problem is seeing him after the game being interviewed.
He didn't look cut, pissed, angry, depressed about the performance like we all did.

That's always a worry for me.

Only one I saw like that was Braith Anasta.

The commentators talked hargreaves up allot about being fresh in the nrl and his aggressive energy in everything he does on the field.

Looks weird when some players have higher levels of energy and enthusiasm to their team mates - everything looks out of rhythm, especially our hit ups(maybe role model off the manly pack would be a good start)

I love him! He is so refreshing to watch. The only problem is it will be hard to start a chant for him like we had with Morley.

The only problem I can see with Hargraves, is he is going to have to be loose head in the scrums. Cause that scone of his is NOT going to fit into the scrum.

Other than that he is great to watch.

I wish JWH could put a couple of his best shots on Perrett and SKD and knock them out so they can no longer play.

Any news on his injury last night? Was it the same shoulder as his last injury?

When questioned by teh media after the game, Adrian said it was just bruising probably as a result of teh hit on banana Bani, although he couldnt remember because he nailed a few.

It's an AC joint. Shouldn't be too serious.

Grade 1 sprain of the AC. Get it strapped and he should be fine.

I saw two of them drop the ball looking for him in defence.

                            Now that's Morleyesque!

A silly thing to say, This bloke has one face and it never changes. He always looks a happy/angry. Like a nervous spring of energy ready to explode for no reason.
