Hey Gus, what's the record of teams who play on Monday night into Saturday night the next weekend? HINT: It's horrible.

We were never going to win this one, the Monday night match a few days earlier against the Cowboys however was an unacceptable loss.

Not at all, but it definitely deserves a mention. For me personally the loss to the Cowboys hurt 5000 times more as we had no reason to lose it, we had plenty of reasons to lose to the Knights. (eg. they are a VERY good attacking team at their best)

As for the short turnaround, only 2 teams have won off the short turnaround this season and both of them were at home for the Saturday night backup. (Sharks and Titans) So in other words, if we won on Saturday night we would have been the first team to win away from home after a Monday night into Saturday night match. (this stat has been a rock solid earner for seasons for me)

MNF into an away Saturday match is a BRUTAL schedule, it totally ****s up preparation - play Friday night and players will have recovery Saturday morning and the rest of the weekend off, play Monday you have to get all of recovery and video out the way by Tuesday when players are still feeling from the night before. You will be lucky to have a proper training session until Thursday, 2 - 3 days behind the opposition already - as good as done before the match has even started.

Absolutely spot on gould - roosters dont have the nads to intimidate opposing teams, need to break away from playing flashy touch football and start manning up - otherwise get bounced every week
