I'm not dismissing his breaks.
The first one was great individual work, but let's be honest, to not convert that into a try, especially with one of our fastest players inside him was horrid. Worst thing is, he did the same against Canberra, only that looked worse.
His second break was all on Pearce, he put SKD outside his man with plenty of grass to burn. Skid did well by brushing Gordon who must weigh 50kg then put a great pass to Pearce. Problem was that his was done with 10 to go and 20 behind.
His misread in defence was shocking.
Perret gone is a start, SKD will complete the double. Mini will finish the trifecta.

The conundrum that is SKD ?
He's probably our most dangerous runner of the ball and certainly last night was the only back who even looked like making a break. Does seem to possess the skills which make good (running) footballers and we see him show these skills quite regularly.
But he is so full of mistakes that he is the most frustrating footballer I can recall ever playing for our club.
But these recurring mistakes are not necessarily things liked dropped balls or fumbles ....yes he's got those in him but so do lots of players.
With SKD its the continual 'dumb' mistakes that we see. The continual mis-reads, clueless positioning and propensity to butcher tries from taking the wrong options. These have been going on for 3 or 4 seasons now ....I keep hearing how he needs to be coached/taught this or that, he is young and will improve with experience
....but at what point do we finally say that he is beyond learning ?
Honestly, having never met the bloke, have no idea what he's like away from football, he's most likely a really nice bloke.
But based on what I've seen of him on the footie field over the past 3 or 4 years, I just think he is what I call a 'Tunnel Vision' footballer i.e has no vision or ability to read whats happening in front of him and just seems incapable of learning ......which is ironical considering his father is a football coach !

Sorry, this skd hate is really starting to confuse me.
he made 2 massive breaks tonight, putting the roosters in great positions for tries tonight, he also scores one and was inches away for a second
it is really confusing me now. i think some people are confusing themselves over what they want from SKD.
So therefore despite being one of our best SKD becomes the scapegoat
It is predictable and boring

Forget the line breaks for a second. Watch Gardners try. Watch the dope let him run past, thinking Mini is there then turning around with a dumbfounded look on his face.
Phil Graham and Mini were just as ****ing bad. Still not seeing this supposed speed he has.
