  • You guys are funny

Its like a week to week rollercoaster.

We are inconsistent, we have been all season, it will probably continue.

But as fans we are just as inconsistent.

Its something we can learn with the players.

I must admitt I dont get angry anymore, I guess im just getting older and used to the weekly Chook Raffle.

Geez has a game ever highlighted how much speed we lack. Against a Juans side who were (not now) full of more backrowers than us, we looked pedestrian. We made linebreaks only to lack the nous or pace to finish them. Maubs and SKiDmark are the only backs we have capable of making a break, and SKiDmark has NFI how to position or pass to support, and Maubs is a backrower. And when they broke us, we had nothing, they ran us ragged.

I heard we had Spaznier till last thursday when he reniged, fark where will we find a genuine line breaking centre who can finish a try???

Till next weeks ride, stay off the grog bitches, it makes the ride easier to digest.

    You know it makes sense.

The funny thing is if we won last night we would be in the top four.

Goes to show how poor the standard is.

So due to it being a rebuilding season, we can't make comments about hacks in our side?

I think most fans know the 3-4 pieces of deadwood in our team, and it's frustrating watching them each week.

That is just a silly thing to say dude.
Everyone was crap tonight. . . .but it don't take long to read through your hatred of Kenny Dowell.
I couldn't care less if they drop him or not. . . .but your bias against him is stupid.

I think when people talk about rebuilding, it is just that, to build again,
to get to a level of consistency & knowing what your limits are, knowing your playing style.

Mate frustration is your choice, I am disappointed, but I ain't gonna smash my head up against the wall every second week.

Last week against the Titans, EVERYONE looked good and I was sure that everyone was in their right positions.

Last night they were a rabble.

For this season, the losses disappoint, but I'm not crushed. Last year I was crushed. The only thing worse than the on field form of the Roosters last year was their off field form.

This year, the boys have a hell of a lot to learn about winning and consistency. But the boys seem to put in even when they lose. There is also none of the 'crap' that happened last year off field.

              Dissappointed - yes.
              Crushed - no.
Hopeful that things will improve - Definitely.
Proud to support the team again (even after poor losses) - absolutely.

I don't have hatred for him, I don't know him.

I couldn't care less about the other chumps because their future is sealed. SKD will have the potential to screw us on the field for years to come.

Don't accuse me of blind bias though, because I am certain that with every criticism, I actually write the reasons behind them. I think those reasons are valid too.

I can't credit a bloke who butchers a certain try as well as contributing SFA in defence, just because he can break the line.

I also can't give him credit for being the best in our backline because deadset, the standard of that rabble is pretty damn low.

i agree, i think he costs us more points in the amount of tries he butchers/ lets in than he actually score or sets up.

the level of inconsistency he posses is not fit for first grade, we cant afford it in a competition this tight..

Vasco, its sick isnt it mate, the standard is worse than I thought considering how inconsistent we are.

Rcptn, Jock and FF I agree with you all.

Mike, I understand with your frustrations and agree with them mate. Remember the two debutants last week struggled this week, we cant just drop most of the backline and replace them with kids every 2nd week, its not gonna happen and wouldnt work anyway.

Dont expect too much this season except more hot and cold footy from this side. Mini, Graham, SKD, Perrett, Bwaiff theyre all not what I want in the backline personally, I think most agree. Thing is they are here for this season, some probably next season also, so we have to suck it up baby.

FFS we dont want to all sound like Sodorump or Tickles Only Koreans do we???

In 2 years, the only backliners remaining of that group will be Perrett and maybe SKD.

Braith will be gone either at the end of this year or next year. Minichiello will be gone at the end of this year. Graham will be gone at the end of next year.

Carney will move to five-eighth, and we will have one flank, and a fullback slot, vacant for new talent to fill.

                      1.
                      2. Perrett
                      3. Kenny-Dowall
                      4.
                      5.
                      6. Carney
                      7. Pearce

Although I have a sneaking suspicion that the Perrett/SKD combo, if it doesn't sort itself out soon, will become a carbon copy of the infamous Walker/Hodges flank.
