250 first grade games ... You have to be good. Granted, the quality these days is very poor. But you still won't play first grade for that length of time unless you have plenty to offer.

But that wasn;t the cause. The cause was, he's a Rooster, so I support him.

I can name plenty of useless players who have played over 200 first grade games Tom. It's not about quantity, it's about quality. There have been plenty of passengers in this game over the last century.

We all have our own definitions of what "useless" might mean.

You're not wrong there. Obviously mediocrity sits with you well

BBFF (Bring Back Finch Foundation). He was the heart and soul of this club. Deadset out and out champion. Look at his GF performances in the RW&B. Legend. Hall of Famer.

I'd be more comfortable with Donovan Mcnabb playing halfback for my side than Funch.

We do, do we? Please.. Consistency is what its about. Getting smashed i repeat smashed by stugglers like cronulla is embarressing. We can't go back to back. If anyone on here is seriously getting carried away with that Gold Coast win then they're kidding themselves. If we put 2 or 3 wins together then i'd start getting excited. Its like a switch goes off in them, they dont dig deep, they were clearly outplayed by a side that is dead set struggling.

                          That's right. That's what I said.

"It's like a switch is turned off," you wrote. Doesn't that imply that there is also a switch that goes "on"?

For the most part, we have a very competitive squad of players. When Cherrington and Cordner get on the field next year, we'll be even better. It's getting everyone to play to a consistent level that is the challenge. We have to bridge the gap between our best and our worst.

I don't foresee mass changes for next year. Maybe two or three new players. Some more strikepower in the backs.

We have the players, we just don't yet have the winning culture.
