Easts had the very first Aboriginal player back in 1908 - George Green, after who the Indigenous player of the year award is named.

Two that got away - Ricky Walford & Nathan Blacklock - both debuted for the Roosters but left soon after to score more than 100 tries elsewhere!

Laurie Daley is another one who got away. Supposedly he wanted to play for us and was told by the club that he wasn't good enough.
