Andrew Walker was ****en great to watch.

I concur. Walker was simply scintillating.

Salvatori was a tower of strength through some very tough times.

And of course Beetson was the greatest of them all.

Walker was brilliant but flawed.

Hodges at his best was unstoppable - huge in 2nd half of 2002 and first half of 2003.

Best in my opinion was Matty Sing. Great in both attack and defence and I cannot recall him ever putting in less than 100%. I was gutted when he left.

Walker and Sing stand out 4 me.

Walker could do it all with the ball. Brilliant pass, great runner and had the biggest boot in the game. I still havent seen someone kick a ball like him. Im pretty sure he was the one that introduced the spiral (swirly) bomb in 1997 that todays kickers use on fullbacks today.
Sing was inspirational. Hardly made mistakes and could run like the wind. Hit a hole beautifully and his defence was just unbelievable.

in 102 years of fantastic easts football weve had some amazing players do their stuff in the rwb! our indigenous players have often provided the exceptional spark thats made the whole team stand out! i agree with kiwi rooster standouts in my paltry5 years of support have to be walker, sing and artie , with favourable mentions to Bruce larpa Stewart and ron saddler, Greg Townsend and a cast of many! imagine how many more well get to cheer in the next 45 years, i should live so long?

Too many to remember. He done it for Queensland, Australia and the Cowboys aswell on a consistant basis. Plus all the tries he scored. Thats what sets him apart from alot of other players, scoring tries, saving tries and doing it consistantly. Magic player, just like Uncle Walker.
