I'd really like to see this guy try and emulate Petro. Don't try and be a hero, 100+ metres, 20-30 tackles every week would see him cement a starting front row position? He's certainly big enough and ugly enough to never take a backward step. Forget getting him angry, just get him consistent. Develop an offload later on?

    Chook.

His problem in the NYC was definitely fitness. He managed to make huge metres per run, but not many runs per game.

In his first NYC season, he played the first three games, got injured, played Round 9 and 10, got injured, played Round 12, got injured, played Round 18 onwards. Average 7 runs for 82 metres, and 52 tackle busts in 15 games.

Hopefully if he takes a couple of kilos off it'll lessen the likely hood of an injury.

decent read and he seems to speak ok for a big fella. The most pleasing part about that article imo was the bit about fpn. has he come a long way or what. It sounds like he is even in some sort of leadership capacity with some of the younger forwards particularly the kiwi ones which is awesome and he seems to relish increased responsability - played out of his skin against the storm. positive times ahead with some of these youngsters we have coming through and imo, it will only get better

Balancing that size and workrate is the hardest thing for a big bopper like that.

Impact prop is where i see him.

And for the record... Mose... you pronounce that "Mossy", or is that just his nickname?

Talks about eating well and losing weight, yet he would spend his last twenty on KFC..LOL..

Frank-Paul learnt it from Fitzy and is now teaching Mose..Very impressive..

Mose still looks like a rugby union player to me, but has had a couple of impressive outings in the red, white and blue..

I hope the lad gets a good run in First grade and can develop during the course of the year. Its good to see Brian Smith blooding some of our youngsters. Good read on Mose.

I wonder if his partner is any relation to John Schuster. If so, we should sign the kid up know.
