  • Antonio Kaufusi worth chasing???

The Knights are talking to the Cowboys about releasing him early as he's been playing for the cowboys feeder club.. Apperently not in the cowboys future plans..

    Hopeless player.

Soft, terrible hitups. No ticker, no heart, has nothing.

If we can't pick up someone like Mannah, Douglas, Snowden, Tolman, Grant or Hunt, then we should stick with who we have.

no way in hell are the Roosters interested in him.

the club is concentrating on recruitment in the outside backs, which is where they see the biggest weakness going forward, they acknowledge they lack genuine speed on the flanks.

watts was actually a junior of ours a few seasons ago but we cut him lose due to off-field incidents. If so this could be a really good little signing. He really impresses me - plays with heaps of aggression and heart and if you throw him in with friend and even jaubs we have some decent options around the ruck imo

Watts is going to be a gun player based on what he is showing in his limited opportunities.

I always thought he would get away from the cows because he is behind Payne.

i think if watts stays up here with the cowboys, he wont be behind payne to much longer as payne has been terrible this season and has been outclassed by watts in everyway. paynes only has 1 more year to go also.

Jaubs isn't a decent option. He is now playing for the Jets so hopefully he's moving on.

                  Watts would be handy.

                    Kaufusi - no way

Watts - absolutely, one of the most underrated players in the comp

Watts would also complement Friend unlike Jaubs who is the same style, just not as good.

If the club signs Watts, it would spell the end for Jaubs and possibly Jones. Jones has been reportedly playing well since dropping back to NYC, but given his size, I see his only place in the team as a bench utility player.

Watts is nothing more than a interchange utility that struggles with anything over 40 minutes. Young Brunton could do the job he does if Smith really does want to use a two dummy half rotation.

Watts won't be worth the coin he'll be looking for.

                            As for Kaufusi, christ no.

watts has actually been playing around 60mins for us of late. he plays around 35 mins and hooker and then rotates to centre, second row or what ever position he is needed and has been our best player all season and can pretty much cover most position if need be.
and i dont agree that watts is nothing more that and interchange utility, i think given the opportunity he could develop into a brilliant 80 minute hooker and is so underated IMO
