the problem is also, the more we lose, the harder it is to attract the fair weather fans, who with a few wins at the home ground, might become more long term supporters. wins generate more publicity which attract more sponsors, more coverage... i mean come on jerks. its not rocket science!!

...and what's this tripe about playing an upcoming home game at the Cricket Ground?...I hate that place for rugby league.

Time we opted out of Mr Gallop's "It's good for Rugby League" warm and fuzzy policy.

Next time 'he' asks we should be saying: "Sorry, we've done our share...we get no favours, so we're looking after ourselves for a while".

Anyone know what the NRL's contracts for clubs are?
it's not written into anyone's contract

they do it for the money

they got 20,000 in the rain there yesterday - would've gotten 10,000 if they played here

                  probably true

have lost something like our last 7 in a row at gosford and our last few in NZ

                  laughable

Exactly! The SFS doesn't provide us with a home ground advantage. Our best wins this season have been on the road. Can't understand why people think playing at the SFS will automatically give us the win!
