it is clear that wing and fullback are our main concerns, at least with fullback we have a few options but wingers we don't have any depth whatsoever, looking at NYC and Newtown there is not 1 winger worthy of a first grade call up.

I can't believe no one has snapped up Michael Gordon yet, after today's performance we should be doing everything in our power to sign him.

It amazes me to think that nobody has signed him beyond this year. First of all, for Penrith to want to release is beyond me, and second of all, we need to get right in their and start bidding for him now. He is a class act and offers our team what we lack out wide, and that is speed coupled with intelligent decision making out on the edges. The thing that impresses me the most is not the fact that he can find the tryline and goal kick, but that he saves plenty of tries out wide.

Gordon is a handy player and one hell of a sharp shooter with the boot, i think he is tracking at about 80% or more with his goal kicking this year.

I have been a fan of his last year and this year, he is a handy winger, knows where the try line is.

I would not turn my nose up at him if he signed.

Didn't someone else post once before that Michael Gordon has a relative (grandmother?) whose opinion he values and who at the same time hates the Roosters? In other words, it would be unlikely Gordon would be a Rooster due to said relative.

I played with Aku at the Woy Woy Roosters and he use to carve up...AND HE WAS 3 YEARS YOUNGER THAN US!
In a prelim final we were down by 8 with about 4 minutes to go.We scored a try to make the deficit 2 with a minute on the clock.
We were thinking up all sorts of plans and finally decided on a little un-expected chip or grubber from a handy ball playing forward we had.
Everyone agreed it was a good idea and we were going to run with it....except Aku.Who then proceeded to catch the ball from the kick-off and run through the entire team to win us the game after the bell.****ing sensational.And i'll say it again...3 YEARS YOUNGER!! It does'nt seem much, but a 15 year old carving up 18 year olds is unheard of!
It does'nt hurt that he can run the 100 in about 10.5-11 seconds either!
