  • Symonds and Conn injured???

Didn't seem that either played for Newtown.

Anyone know whether they were injured or just dropped?

Surely if they weren't injured they would be good enough to play for Newtown.
Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

You'd think so. But there was no injury update on the Sydney Roosters website or in the papers.

Apparently Lopini had a good game for Newtown.

Conn always seems injured but perhaps Smith took an extended squad to NZ as cover. I would like to have seen Symonds at Lock with Anasta out.

I thought under those wet conditions and the size of those Kiwis that Kennedy was the right choice. He did his part. Dry track, Symonds for sure. I just thought he would have played for Newtown to gain a bit more match fitness but can understand if he brought him over as a backup option.

I would have played Symonds ahead of Leulia.

Conn has been a great buy, good solid fringe player who has played well every time he has been used

Conn's been great but there hasnt been one game when he's hasnt rolled around the ground in agony clutching at some body part.

It's because he plays hard mate!....The Conn-Man is one of my new favourites!
No bullshit about his game.He comes on and goes flat-out until Smitty replaces him.

Probably traveled to NZ with the team, hence not playing with the Jets.

Symonds hasn't been that great since his return to be honest...

He might get the Steve Matai award...

Nothing like Steve Matai......Conn actually gets injured!
Steve Matai only does it so he can look tough on the big screen! He's always looking up at the screen with the slightest smirk on his ****ed up head!

He is probably in pain from all the tattoos on his body
