He has a running game, genuine speed, thats something I havent seen in a hooker at the club since Ping.

And hes an annoying little carnt, thats what we lack, a genuine little smartarse who shits the opposition. A competitive little turd, who hates to lose.

Many of you who dislike this blokes antics also hate watching players at our club leave the field smiling after another loss. Somehow I cant see this bloke acting that way, he appears hungry for any chance he gets.

Watts is showing all signs of being a great player. I wouldn't call him a fring player.

He is only a fringe player at the cows because he is behind Payne. He would be starting at a lot of clubs.

Can't agree with that last sentiment... It's only supposedly us & Parra who want him as a back-up.. If he had talent then other clubs would be after him to start...

He can pass alright, he does great runs from Dummy Half.
We put him to the Wing/Center because of his size & Speed, also becase we had 2 other Hookers in Waddel & McIlwrick

Mate, trust me on this. I'm good friends with a guy who was on your junior coaching staff up until about a month ago when he moved to the Gold Coast. He was a lock when he went to the Raiders and they tried converting him to hooker but his service was poor and he wasn't smart enough to play there so they moved him to the outside backs.

The Sydney Roosters have followed up the announcement they have signed Canberra's Justin Carney with confirmation they have also secured North Queensland utility Anthony Watts. Watts's manager Sam Ayoub yesterday said Watts, who has been in strong form for a poorly performing side, had agreed to a three-year deal with the Roosters. Watts's signature may spell the end of James Aubusson's stint with the club. With Jake Friend and now Watts on the club's books, and fellow hooker Aubusson off contract at the end of the season, the club is unlikely to re-sign the latter.
