Brunton still needs a few years mate. He is talented, but way too raw and undersized.
Samuela can barely hold down a bench position in the twenties.
I don't know what you have against Watts. Yes, he may be a ****wit, but to suggest that he is just less than an average player is ludicrous.
I'll put a lazy 10 on you warming to him as a player when he gets here.
He is a player who will do anything to win, the more of these players we have here, the better. We are building an aggressive and passionate team for the future, and Watts would be the perfect addition.
I don't think he'd be one I'd warm to.. He is like Gallen or Slater.. A grub no matter what jersey he is wearing.. I also don't think he's any better than an average 1st grader.. Playing ok in a cowboys team is hardly anything worth writing home about..

Being consistently good in a team going crap is no easy feat.
Considering he is one of only a few standouts week in week out.
Its easier to look good in a winning team, than a losing one.
Just have a look at the young Dragons guys, even the lesser name players are looking like superstars..Its just the way it is!
I'm neither here or there with this signing. If we get him, as long as he replaces Koups as the bench hooker. But I would still prefer we look at Foran and direct the money into trying to find a big fast winger and a strike centre. Our backs are our problem areas.

Remember Ashley Harrison, superstar at Souths and dud at the Roosters.. I think sometimes average players who have heart will stand out at a crap team but when they come into a good team with high expectations they can get shown up.. Mind you i don't know if we qualify as a good team yet.
THE Roosters are seeking to bolster their already impressive array of playmaking options with the signature of Cowboys utility Anthony Watts next season.
One Tricolours source is confident that Watts is likely to move to Bondi after attracting a three-year offer recently.
The bloodnut has shone like a red-light special at the local disposal store in a below-par Cowboys unit this year, and was particularly brilliant when North Queensland sprang an upset win over the Roosters in May.
Parramatta have also shown interest in the Murwillumbah product, and the Cowboys might do it tough to keep him along with fellow off-contract stars Willie Mason, Carl Webb and Luke O'Donnell
Please parra, do the roosters a favour and sign Watts !

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

The fireworks at the Easter show are making more noise than the crowd tonight
not totally against signing Watts as he would add some impact off the bench, but don't like the idea of a 3 year deal for a bench player, when will management learn and not hand out long term deals to fringe players.
