Does anyone remember what injury (or other reason) Holbrook got,that finished his '02 season with us...& subsequently his career?

He is coaching the dogs reserve grade at the moment....& the wikipedia page on him reveals faark all..

His injury (or other) did end up a massive benefit for us...allowing Judas Pinkpants to move into 1/2...

He did continue to play for quite a few years after his stint at the Roosters.

He played on the South Coast (forget which team) for a while before being Captain Coach of Dapto in the Illawarra league.

Faark that article jogged my ageing memory..

We were blowing up cause that Maddison "Les Boyded" Holbrook...& he was an ex-chook..

What about the Nostradamus who wrote the bit..

Not sure,but I remember the dirty elbow shot Maddison put on him,which ended his NRL career...

I thought he was great for us in 2002...

He then went to Group 7.....Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs (South Coast).

He absolutely blitzed them down there..

I know they won the group in 2004 with Holbrook doing most of it....
