Yeah, Peter O'Sullivan discovered him, looking to get him to Bondi. That's the rumour though

hope not. another centre/backrower. we already have a couple of these and backrow isnt an area id be looking to continue to develop for us and our outside back stocks are also strengthening so would be a bit of an unneccessary signing imo but he is a good player no doubt.

I'd only consider Thompson if Morbs shipped off with his brother.

Relax, take a Valium (There's a Roosters player who can help you with a prescription if you need it) & talk to me when you can construct a post without repeating yourself or having un-needed swearing
Mate I deal in fact not in "the word on the street".

Your club is shit, deal with it.

At least the next time we win a premiership, we can say we won it with our own juniors, and we didn't try to buy a premiership.

How has that approach been going for Easts/Sydney Roosters/Sydney City/Roosters/Bondi anyway?

The next time the Roosters win a premiership, I couldn't care less if the players came from Mars

I would have Joel Thompson in a heart beat.

Very quick, skillfull and a valuable utility player (centre/forwards).

That's why them Bullwogs are chasing him.

not a fan of the move to sign Carney, the poor kid suffered one of the most horrific injuries ever seen on a rugby league field and is unlikely to ever discover his previous speed/power, the fact he hasn't been able to break into a team that has been struggling highlights the fact he is nowhere near being the player he was before his injury.

like others I would take Joel Thompson in a heartbeat, he has the penetration we lack out wide, he is right up the top in terms of line breaks and tackle busts.

if trained properly Linnett has the attributes to make a good winger.

Ha. The old "buy a premiership" chestnut, any club will do what it has to do to be successful. The ironic thing is arguably your 3 best players were poached from other clubs. Harrison, Shillington and Learoyd-Lahrs. Not to mention players like Mogg, Tilse, Logan and Joel Thompson (do I need to keep going?).

Other than a few years in the late 80's and early 90's where The Raiders had great sides with local juniors such as Meninga, Belcher, Walters, Ferguson, Daley (do I need to keep going?). Not to mention rorting the salary cap at the time. The Raiders have enjoyed 25 years of mediocrity.

While we are the only club who has contested every premiership season since 1908. We have a proud history.

As I said before. Your club is shit, deal with it.

Good point. Hopefully the contract takes the injury into account.
