  • Are you happy to keep playing "home" games in Gosford & New Zealand?

This poll has been running on the official forum for a while so I thought I'd give you guys who don't subscribe to it a chance to have a vote.

For me it's a definate NO, purely because we seem to conceed 2 competition points on each and every occasion.

    Your thoughts?

      I second that.

Are the points sacrificed worth the revenue generated?

Yeah! It's not just about making money at the other venues, and loosing which seems to be what happens.
If they want to make money, then create a successful team, then there will be more bums on seats at home games.

I've ranted enough over at the Wall. My simple answer is, no.

No, I don't know why they keep going to Gosford when we barely get 12000 turning up, you would think against the knights we would get at least that at the SFS.
As for New Zealand they had 21000 turn up in apalling conditions, maybe they can go there ever 2 years.

            Booster.

Although I do not mind ONE game at Gosford, that is NOT against the Knights, I voted no.....
Home games should be just that......

I think all the games should be played in NSW regardless.
I think the game was better when it was NSW RL

I voted yes, until some of the fair weathered fans turn up to a ****en game, like the embarraing 6000( inflated by 3000) v the cowboys, we have no excuse when the club takes games away, 20000 v the warriors last week, 5000 if played here.

I would love us to play every game in Sydney, until we get bums on seats, it aint gunna happen

What was the Rooster attendance like in NZ? I know we have a pretty good backing there but if there wasn't many Chooks fans I don't see why we would continue too? Revenue shouldn't be the only motive.

Like I said after the Gold Coast match I'd be keen to take one up there... we have strong support in the QLD region and they came out in numbers.

If we played this game at the sfs we win with home support cheering the boys on but no they wanna play it up in christchurch where you barley see the farkin paint for each 10 metre line this team really knows how to piss off a loyal supporter who wouldve love to be at the game at SFS Stadium

**** Gosford. For an area allegedly screaming out for an NRL side, the piss poor crowds they continually get is a joke. If they really wanted a side they would pack that 3 sided shithole even if the game was Melbourne Storm vs Bondi United.

As for NZ, good way to get our crowd averages up and probably worth a bit of cash too. The 2 points isn't an issue imo...we had that game won and can't blame the location for it. Maybe the weather, but hey what can you do.
