  • Can we really beat souffs?

    Think about it...

We just had a match on Sunday, Souffs had the bye. We picked up a few injuries from the match, We got two of our best players yet to play Origin this Wedesnday, then need to play on Friday.

Can we really beat souffs this Friday???

It will need a massive effort. Their only downside is Luke being out so they have clear advantage. GO THE CHOOKIES!!!!!

Everything points to a Rabbits victory, but there is enough talent in our team now to pull off an upset. I wouldn't write off our team against anyone this year bar possibly St George (unless it was a semi final ).

You have to remember that this is Roosters vs Rabbits. Anything can and will happen!

Both teams have big packs now and both teams will be fired up. It will be interesting to see how Smith uses the pack this match. Last time we moved them around with a mobile pack and dummy half runs. Since round 1, the Rabbits pack has clicked and we now have an in form Ryles, FPN and Mose as well as JWH who didn't play round 1.

If Smith chooses to play the big boys, this could be a clash of the two biggest packs in the comp!

Can't wait Fletch. The short turn around has been our biggest problem all year. I just don't know why we struggle so much the following week.

I think we will be competetive, and I hope the week off hinders the vermin, rather than helps.

Pfft the Wabbits have nothing now that their best player is out

Luke was responsible for at least 2 line breaks a game, getting them a few penalties, making over 100 metres, scoring and setting up a few tries all out of dummy half. Not to mention his goal kicking.

Should we honestly be worried about Beau Faloon achieving these feats??

            I think not

No Luke puts a lot of pressure on Sandow. We should target him and also Merrit under the high ball.
I'm not sure we want to focus too much on the forward contest. Plays into their hands. They look weak as pish out wide in defence.

Smith has always been the master at pulling off the unexpected. Hopefully he does the same this week.

as if they can rely on Sandow to get them home??????

If they turn up like they seem to after most wins and basically expect to be given the two points on the basis that we look better on paper then they'll put 30 on us easy. There is no doubt.

If they wanna break this damn W/L/W/L crap then they need to fire up big time- and there is no better club to get them worked up then vermin. Don't expect any favours from the reffs or them to stuff up just SMASH EM, keep doing it and for god's sake if you get ahead hold onto the damn lead!
