Playing, outside a fat, slow and useless 6 will not be good for his development
true, but it should have prepared him well to play alongside Barrett

                B)his youth
                C)His father
                D)our team

but now I realise after 5 years he is a cat!!!!

Mitchell ****ing Pearce is a defensive hack with a pisshead football brain.

Get a job selling hot dogs boy cause you are are so ****ing over rated.

                Sober the **** up
Have a look at the coach and the handbrake who stood outside him if you are looking for scapegoats.. For one our attacking structure had no depth and Barrett should have stayed out of the way (in fact should have been home watching on TV) and given Pearce the keys to the organization of our attack.
                ...

Pearce was undeniably rubbish last night, but to let it worry you, you would have to give a shit about SOO..

How he goes this Friday night is all that is important...

Perace has never been able to organise an attack, it is not his forte, last season we lost a stack of games we should have won, with poor attacking options and his inability to close out a game, not trying to bag the guy, just the fact is, he is not that style of player, haiving Barrett with him was a dagger through the heart of nsw, His attacking prowess is worse than Pearces, the sharks are going real weel arent they.

soward / pearce combo next season for the blues will see a marked improvement in our attacking options

It was like watching pearce go round for us last year - touches of class but some things not quite up to scratch. imo, its barretts fault as stupid as it sounds. You see barrett and anasta have an uncanny resemblance - slow, old, 5/8/locks that have a knack of getting in the way. pearce played his best footy last year when anasta was injured because it allowed him to play his own game. This year has been similar except it is evident that smith has actually told anasta to get the hell out of the way and in the games he hasnt (tigers game when carney played his first at half in a while), we have looked shithouse.

Carney will be outside him next year and they have a great combination and complement each other perfectly so i will refrain from commenting about his future at origin level until he gets a few games with todd outside him and his forwards decide to roll their sleeves up. Very similar to what i was saying about having patience with him last year and all of a sudden, with a half decent coach, a 5/8 out the way and a pack going forward he is the form half in the NRL.

If im being honest, he wasnt really that bad anyway....

Roz - You can't just keep on making excuses for him..

                            It's Anasta's fault, it's Barrett's fault...

He was simply rubbish last night...

His form for us has been great and hopefully will continue to be...

Yes, it was a tough spray.
But I have defended this kid for 5 years now saying he will come good.

He aint going to the next level.
Everyone deserves a spray at times.
                              Myself included.
