In fact noone really stood out as not up to it last night from the NSW side apart from beau scott who if able to pass, would have put gordon over on numerous occassions and morris who say what you want but is the biggest clutz in rugby league and that goes for both of them - he has feet for hands and i often cringe when he goes to field a ball. Ennis is just dumb but the problem with farah is that for wests he plays hooker and halfback because they have 2 5/8s in their halves so i think he would get in pearces way whereas at least ennis is aggressive and gets rid of the ball straight away..... -
He'll become more confident in the role now that he's probably going to keep the position. He is undeniably talented, I think you'd have a few screws loose to debate that. You can't just chuck a bunch of blokes together and expect them to be an overnight success. If Carney eventually gets 5/8 it'll be a hell of a lot better given that their combo will be pretty much perfected during weekly play.
As a Queenslander I was impressed that you managed to look a chance and really got into the game. Good starting point for rebuilding the team. Build on it don't change anyone.Comment

Let the kid continue to mature at Origin level. There have been plenty of players who have started off in Origin and improved immensely as the years go on. He had some good touches but also has plenty of improvements in his game. In two years, I believe he will deliver NSW an Origin series if not next year.Comment
