Pearce was one of NSW's better players in game 2, easily. Barrett is apparently untouchable, despite mediocre performances in both games.

I think Mitch plays great at club level but I just don't think he is made for Origin. In Origin he is all hype and is grossly overrated and talked up. For those of you who think the kid should be captain of NSW I'am assuming you are either retarded or you know nothing about rugby league in general.

Pearce needs a coach who will let him run the show. He was pushed to second receiver too often and asked to play a style he's not used to. I can understand calls to sack him but we need to be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water.

The only thing over rated is origin itself. has been for at least 10 years. Shame you werent around when it really was a spectacle.
