the forwards should take a bow after a cracking performance given the pressure injuries placed on them.

Sam Perret's work was something else and mitchell Aubusson continues to be consistently one of the best players we have had in years.

The players reaction after the game said it all, this team play for each other, in fact even backstabbing freddy was holding back the sheer emotion of a great win

I have never hugged so many strangers. I cried like we won a Grand Final. That was the bets game I have ever been to. The atmosphere was so intense. You cut the air with a knife.

Whenever we play each other, we smash them, or we get smashed. This was the first time where we fought it out for the full 80 and it just shows...

EAST WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN SOUTH!

I don't know why you called Fittler "backstabbing" but in his interview with Braith at the end of the game I thought I saw an awkward moment. Freddy says laughingly to Braith, "Did you blow up at Smithy like you blew up at me about playing lock?" Braith laughs it off by saying, "Come on mate, you know I always do what's best for the team," but he didn't look happy about being asked that question by Freddy. Strange stuff ...

That was the best Roosters game i have seen in the years the commitment they showed to stay in the game with the refs against us, two players on the bench for majority of the game, fighting past the fatigue which would have been enourmous considering our last few games, it was the most inspirational game i have seen a Roosters team play in years and what better team to do it against then Souffs. FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKK KKKKKKKKKKK YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH HHHH BBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to 2 footy functions were Freddy has been a guest speaker( mumbler/ dribbler) and he has given to our club, i will not go into detail but i felt like walking out.

Maybe his bitterness is waining, that comment to Anasta was a smart arse backhander, im glad Braith gave it the reponse it seserved

You see his pre-match thumbs down a la Russell Crowe on channel 9?

I just caught it on the FoxSports highlights package...

Fantastic win!! Great show of courage, determination and belief. Puts us in good stead for the rest of the year and the future. Don't want to look to far ahead but similar performances in the next few weeks should get us results against most opponents and cement our spot in the eight with a good chance of staying in the four. This season is already a mighty improvement from last year and it has been a pleasure to follow.

I thought Daniel Conn was great tonight and deserves a shot next week when hopefully Myles comes back. I suppose we will find out eventually but does anyone know how serious FPN's and Leiiua's injuries were?

On a final note great to see Freddy share that moment with Braith. He will always be a legend of the club and I would love to see him back in some sort of official capacity in the future.

Agreed with all the comments here, from the warriors game, the boys have been playing with alot of guts and determination.

While we lost to the Warriors, we have taken alot of positives from that game and built on them which has given us tight wins against both the Raiders and souffs !!!

great work boys from 1 to 17 (or 21 in Maubs case in the 2nd half !!! )

To love Easts is to hate Souffs
