Then in the interview last night he embarassed him by bringing it up.
What happened in private moments between player and coach should remain private. For Shittler to try and turn it into a running joke shows what an unprofessional idiot he is (and why we are much better off having sacked him).
And now we know why Shittler put Braith at fullback to humiliate him. Backfired big time though. From that moment his card was stamped.
Shittler still has a chip on his shoulder and anyone that thinks he is back in the fold is deluded.
When Shittler tries to make a joke about his lack of success as a coach it makes me want to vomit.
Great player.

I think most players might have had something to say after being stuffed around.
But it probably would depend on whether the coach was sober or not at the timeThe Internet is a place for posting silly things

I laughed when Freddie said that. I also laughed when he did the thumbs down. Some of you have to lighten up.
Some may be pissed at his coaching ability but him coming to our club was the best thing that happened to us in 25 years. It's a huge shame it ended the way it did. If he never took on the coaching job he would be a club legend in all of our eyes.

I didn't think he was that bad a coach after all when he came in towards the end of 07' we turned our form around and just missed making the finals then in 08' we made the top 4, but Freddy's problem was that he wanted to be one of the boys and lost all respect from the players. It was unfortunate, because he was thrown into the coaching role way to early and i think a few years as assistent coach to someone like Brian Smith would've given him time to mature as a person and to learn the art of coaching a lot better. I really hope he takes an official role with us in the future whether it be in coaching or in some other capacity.

He was a shocking coach and had absolutely no idea how to implement anything.
But it was not all his own fault, he had absolutely no support from the club management and there were several young players with huge egos that could not have cared lessThe Internet is a place for posting silly things

I saw the comment last night, Anasta shook freddy's hand with plenty of gusto before the comment, I know nothing of what's gone on b/w them, but in a heat of the moment sit'n, there didn't appear to be any great anamosity. Both of them were laughing about it, Anasta did the 'boggle' so he was a bit shocked by the comment, however he was very professional if there's bad blood.
The telling point was Anasta saying how tight the team was now, and how important the back to back win was, plus how happy he was to beat Souffs.
I can't see him worrying about where he plays, he's a smart cookie, he knows his time in the game is limited, and that usually refocusses the mind to achieve as much as you can before it's gone.
