I'm not surprised Braith resented Fittler wanting to move him from 5/8 to lock when there was no one else at the Club at the time who would have been a better 5/8. It was just another of Fittler's hairbrain schemes and Braith knew it. I mean Fittler is the man who wanted Maubs at 5/8 and has nominated useless nuffie after nuffie as the next Roosters No 6 since his retirement.

The siutation now is completely different with Carney at the Club. Braith would have known that sooner or later he would be moved to lock but unlike Fittler, Smith has the people management skills to ensure that both Todd and Braith were involved in the process that goes with the move and it has gone according to plan. No one has their noses out of joint and the Club benefits.

Fittler is just being a farkwit about Braith because he can - nothing unusual there, and that's what Channel 9 pay him for. Braith has far too much class to publicly denegrate Fittler, pity the same can't be said about Fittler, who whilst as a player was exceptional as a person leaves a lot to be desired.
