The bloke has shown this year that he will be a leader for years to come. He is a rep player for the next 10 years, and is like a good red, getting better with age.
I would like to see a joint captancy between Pearce and Myles as i think they both deserve the role and because they are going to be around for a long time to come.
Joint captaincy is soooo 2005! The Swans did it, everybody jumped on the bandwagon and now they all realise what a massive wank it is to have joint captains. If we have joint captains and we get a penalty and Myles says take the 2 and Pearce say naaa keep the pressure on, who gets to make the call?
Myles, Pearce or Maubs would do me. Happy with any of the three. I'd probably lean to Maubs at this stage. He's a little older then Pearce, and appears far more mature, plays the full 80 and has grown up at the club. He's our next Ricko.

Terrible captain though.......
It has to be Pearce in 2012 after Anasta...
People said the same about Fitzy in 2006-7, then when we took the captaincy off him in 2008, everybody was blowing up deluxe. Some guys are born to be leaders, others take time to adjust. Fitzy eventually found his feet as a skipper and I think Ricko would have too if he was given more than one season in the job.
