I have to admit the Dogs have been by far and away been the biggest disappointment of the season... I had them in my top 4 leading into the season.

A lot of that has to come down to the coach but I do believe moving Idris to the 2nd row and Barba to 5/8 (although forced by injury) has been the catalyst to your 'mini' revival. I still think it's too early to judge him based on two extreme seasons though, one very poor and one very good. Like an inexperienced player he will have his inconsistencies and I like the look of your team for next year.

You will never know the complete frustration this season has been. I was more at peace with our team in 2008 when they set new records for being crap. At least they met expectations.

There was a lot of emotion about last year and I thought we would be in the top 8 somewhere this year.

At brookvale, I think back in 2000 as I was at work at the time (working at the SFS as an usher) and saw it on T.V. in the break room.

It was 1995. He did it as a ploy to try and fire up the team and change the thought processes of the ref. It might have worked because they called Menzies back from what would have been the match winner for a forward pass, that was marginal at worst not long after it. Manly were on a 15 game unbeaten run at the time and we were sitting about 9th or 10th. Was a great win, can remember it like it was yesterday.

What if the coach continually chooses the wrong players? They were better today but the fact remains our half back went missing when the heat was on today. We have persisted with out of form players and poor game plans most of the season. We should have been in a position where we could afford a loss today, but we weren't because of the decisions made long before our team was picked last tuesday.

Yeah, that was last year. Le Te Maari tried to break them up and copped one as well, all 3 got stood down. Te Maari didn't play NRL again ..... ahh .... good times ....

there needs to be an enquiry to find out why that footage showing Folau losing the ball wasn't shown until after the try was awarded, perhaps another News Ltd conspiracy as they own Fox Sports.
