I have to admit the Dogs have been by far and away been the biggest disappointment of the season... I had them in my top 4 leading into the season.

A lot of that has to come down to the coach but I do believe moving Idris to the 2nd row and Barba to 5/8 (although forced by injury) has been the catalyst to your 'mini' revival. I still think it's too early to judge him based on two extreme seasons though, one very poor and one very good. Like an inexperienced player he will have his inconsistencies and I like the look of your team for next year.

it definatly did, but man Badger and Dela Haras were really pushing the buttons !

Actually what would happen if there was a walk off? would it be considered a forfeit? or would they try and get the players back on?

That book is out of print. So I checked for second-hand copies in Australia and came up empty there, too.

There are quite a few second-hand copies overseas, the cheapest being here:

Thank you kind sir, and what a magnificent surprise i encountered in the book description.........."Yockey fell foul of the U S State Department and died in a San Francisco jail in mysterious circumstances".
          Hmmmmm mysterious indeed!
As a man unfettered by the insidious chains of Zion that i am sure you are MR V, i would love to hear your take on Mr Yockeys, from all accounts, life changing work!

Didn't Gus do that in a game against Manly when he was our coach?

I think, if i can recall, gus was in the motion of calling the players off, but he cooled his heals and they stayed on

At brookvale, I think back in 2000 as I was at work at the time (working at the SFS as an usher) and saw it on T.V. in the break room.

Mods ... can I also ask you modify the heading to this thread. Archer wasn't the ref today. Just take his name off.
A major mistake was taking Barba off. I know he was trying to protect a lead but Barba is a guy who could of easily turned a 12 point lead into an 18 point lead and killed us off for good.

That thought crossed my mind too mate, I was that annoyed with the refereeing that I considered leaving the match. Thank heavens I didn't listen to myself.

When Braith's try was disallowed, the guy sitting in the row in front of me kicked the chair in front of him so hard it broke and at times there I thought he was going to get into a fight with one of the 'Dogs fans close by. Some people really need to chill.

Summed up the day for me, the fact that it came from such a placid person as well just shows how out of control it actually got at one stage there.

And that is the whole point, the refs forced a team to the point of leaving the game.

But you know nothing will come of it, Robert Finch does not have the balls to take any control of these refs. He will not make them accountable !

That fat gay **** owes Sean Garlick his career and credibility because he was the captain from memory and the one who kept a cool head and ignored the chutney ferrets walk off calls!
