  • Take 'Em Off

Braith was close to taking the players off the field when his try was disallowed. He even asked the Badger's Nose if he wanted them to go off.

I must admit that at the same time (and without knowing) I also wanted him to take them off.

We have been copping it for weeks and something drastic has to happen to make a stand.

In hindsight, though, I am very glad he didn't take them off.

I am interested in what would happen if we did leave the field. Of course, we would forfeit and they would get the points but what else would the NRL do? Fine? Dock points? It is so radical that they would not know what to do.

Saw the heading for this thread and somehow thought you may have been talking about or to the cheerleaders!

It was fifteen years ago almost to the day (July 16, 1995) when Gus asked his captain Sean Garlick to bring his players off the field at Brookvale Oval.

I think we were all thinking the same after braiths try was called a no try, i posed the same question yesterday, i think we came to a consensus that it would be considered a forfeit. But with the below sub standard performance of the refs, would they replay the match?
