What price did we pay for these guy's, would they have come across to us for the same money hoping to be in a team which might play semi finals football over the next 5 or more years. This way they may get offered more money for their next contract.

      I'm 50/50.

Talented, but by all acounts, a bad attitude.

Still though, the kid SCREAMS Brian Smith prototype. Exactly the kind of guy Smith could turn into a superstar.

I wouldn't be all too concerned if we picked him up, as long as it wasn't overs.

JCarney, Perrett, Leilua, Linnet, Graham, Ferguson and SKD does seem like overkill though. Through Mini in there as well...

Argh, it's too difficult. I'm sure Smith will make the right choice.

        1 Perret
        2 Carney
        3 Ferguson Leulia
        4 Keny Dowall
        5 Leulia Ferguson
        6 Carney
        7 Pearce

This has the making of one of the best atticking teams maybe abit vulnrable in defence but Smith will work wonders with them im preety excited then we have the depth of Graham Linnet Blair if he stays which is looking more and more unlikely though
        We are the Fonk

Mack, I think SKD is onto a goldmine here and wouldn't complain if he played front row.

I seriously doubt he would of got such an extended run at any othe club.

I remember Ferguson mentioning that he wanted to move to a club who are serious premiership contenders and that he wanted to play centre as he thought he had a bit to offer there. If we sign him, I don't want him in the centres, I'd like him on the wing. Joseph Leilua and Shaun Kenny-Dowall are doing very well, not to mention Kane Linnett.

He is very very overrated. Big waste of money IMO, the club he chooses will be the one that offers him the most money, he wouldn't give a pinch about the roosters if he came over there and probably up and leave if he was offered a better deal. Leulia is heaps better than him.

I still believe Brian Smith will groom Ferguson into a gun fullback..Just my opinion!

SKD back to the wing position!

After serving a short apprenticeship this year out in the centres, how do you think SKD would go if he was picked to play on the wing again & have Graham/Leilua/Linnett/Fergo(2011) as centre combinations.

Just a thought but by no means out of the question.

                      Correct.

As a winger, he is decent and strong.

Not sold on him as a centre though.

SKD is more value in the centres, i know it is onlu one position difference, but he is alot more self confident as a centre. While he has been up the top of the clubs top try scorers from the wing, i think he is playing better in the centres, even his defence has improved from last year in the centres.

Agree. Amazing how in one year Brian Smith's coaching has helped him enormously. SKD was thrown in the deep-end under Freddie who himself was very raw.

Despite some good performances i'm still not sold on him as a centre. I've no doubt that Smith and his coaching staff can fix his deficiencies and improve on his abilities as a winger once again. His bustling runs in open play are a feature and was instrumental in setting up the final try against the Dogs.

It just shits me to see players like Linnett & Leilua thrown on the wing when centre is their natural position.

                            The best solution is:

                            1. Minichiello
                            2. Perrett
                            3. SKD
                            4. Linnett/Graham
                            5. Ferguson

                            ...with Leilua in the forwards.

Why people want to put Leilua in the backrow is beyond me.

The kid is big, strong and fast enough. We have a wealth of backrowers, and very few centres. When he played against the Dogs at centre, he dominated.

                              LEAVE HIM THERE.

Tbh, if we re-signed Minichiello, I wouldn't take Ferguson. I'd have:

                              1. Minichiello/Perrett
                              2. Perrett/Ferguson
                              3. SKD
                              4. Leilua
                              5. Linnet
