Hey Fletch, that's probably a bit of a doom and gloom prediction. The closeness of the comp and the elimination of Melbourne point to 28-30 points required for the 8. That's 2-3 more wins.

It will take a massive collapse for us to miss the eight from here.

I reckon on balance, 3 to 4 wins of our last 7 is likely, which would probably see us finish 5th-7th or so.

The fact that Melbourne is sucking points out of the comp means that 12 wins (28 points) will almost certainly be enough. You're right, if we can't win the necessary 2 games, that would be an immense failure.
