  • Club Injury Update

The Sydney Roosters will know the full extent of injuries to forwards Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Tom Symonds after they get scans this afternoon.

Waerea-Hargreaves sustained a right calf strain and Symonds left knee injury during the win over the Brisbane Broncos on Monday night.

It will be race against the clock with the short turnaround working against them but fellow forwards Jospeh Leilua (back), Daniel Conn (mild concussion) and Mose Masoe (back) are expected to shake of their knocks from the physical encounter.

Mitchell Pearce (hamstring) and Nate Myles (hip) are expected to train with the side this week and are expected to come back into selection calculations for this Saturday night’s clash away to the Parramatta Eels.

looks like it is going to be a fairly light week of training given the large number of injury concerns, didn't realise Symonds got injured as well, I wonder if it he has aggrevated the same knee injury he did in round 1.

Conn's concussion is something that has gone fairly unnoticed. He rushed out of the line in the final few minutes of the match to smash Israel on an inside pass. Body on the line, no fear! He was knocked out straight away, but it was a big play!

I think Symonds tore a hamstring in round 1.

Massive play by Daniel Conn,no wonder Titans supporters had nicknamed him "con-crete".
        He is one tough hombre!
That play by him has definetly gone unnoticed by many supporters, but gee it was a huge play, especially at that stage of the game.

I saw it, it was bloody courageous.

Looking at the press release JWH will probably be out but that should be offset with the return of Nate.

            Awesome play

his plays have gone unnoticed the past few weeks. His offloads to create second phase plays have been great

I thought he hyper-extended his knee?

You're correct Vasco. With Symonds in the clear that little gnome from the Vermin drove his shoulder into his knee rather than attempt a tackle.
Karma is going to get that little shit one of these days!

It did a few weeks ago after he gestured to Roosters fans after he converted from the sideline.

A few minutes later Aubusson ran over him to score the winner.

No mate, i want an angry kunt like Luke O'Donnell to retaliate and absolutely smash him........taste his own medicine.
How last week he wasn't penalised or pulled up for having another cheapshot at the player on the ground he had just tackled is beyond me!

Symonds currently playing for the Jets against the Bears so he's sweet.
