Costigan and Scott are probably the best defenders in the comp. It does reduce their go forward a bit and they will be relying heavily on Weyman for that. Expect lot of forward passes from Young at dummy half.
Regardless, the only player missing from that team is Dan Hunt. If he was there, Costigan would probably shift to second row, Creagh to lock, Smith to bench, Saffy out. But regardless, it is a seriously good team, and I will be proud as punch of the boys if they can step up and beat them.

Who cares about the other 16 when he know that the stallion in the number 17 - Nick 'Dally Messenger' Kouparitsis - can carry us to victory!!

Over the last month it seems like Smith has been rotating the forwards so they're fresh towards the finals. I don't mind if Mose and JWH are getting a little bit of a break and I doubt there are serious injury concerns for either of them. In the case of JWH, they probably want to make sure his calf tear is fully healed.

It was a bit of a surprise that Maubs was selected considering his shoulder. Although, he might end up being a late change out depending on how he pulls up at the end of the week.
