which is why if the result is anything close to what it was before, we've learnt nothing since then.

Exactly Chris. Add to that that I feel we were on top of their forwards up to about the 60 minute mark then Ryles and JWH were replaced by FPN and Lopini which were playing like lazy bums at that time. The Dragons just got us in the last 10-15 minutes. I expect our forwards to be much better this time around. The Dragons have struggled this year against big dominant packs.

Agreed. We were leading at half time 6 - 4 I think? We have the ability to roll them on the weekend. Fingers crossed that's what happens..

And above all, we have to play with patience, even if it means winning in the 80th minute.

            Alot has changed.
The main thing is the Dragons have absolutely no attack

We went into the ANZAC day match intending to measure ourselves against the best. We engaged ourselves in an arm-wrestle, were competitive in the first half, but ultimately succumbed to St George's death grip.

Come round 22, St George is still the benchmark (despite their recent form slump) and we are again looking to test ourselves and prove our worth in this years competition.

I'm sure the boys will be up for it this week considering it's at the SCG, with hopefully a full house and against the top side of the comp. They'll also be having their Hall of Fame dinner which really should reinforce their sense of responsibility to and pride in the jumper.

A part of me wants to engage in an arm wrestle again to see if we really are a tough side, but there is a part of me that thinks we shouldn't let St George play the game on their own terms.

I'm pretty confident tbh. I can't see us getting blown away so it should be a close game. If I was being a little cocky I'd say we'd have a bloody good chance of winning 13+. Hopefully the boys show a little bit more humility and respect for their opponents.

Bingo. Patience is the key the Dragons do have great defence. If we play too loose and try to score off every play the Dragons can frustrate us out of the game. I mean as bad as they were today they only conceded two tries.

If we play with the right attitude and tactics there is no doubt we can win.

If we are to win this game it will be through our forwards. I hope JWH and Masoe are both up for this game. It seemed Smithy was protecting Masoe last night. Looks like he may still be injured.

My tip is that we will drop this one and then go undefeated for the rest of the regular season.

Benchmark for boredom is all they are at the moment.
While this game is by no means close to a certain win for the Roosters, I honestly think that if the Dragons win they will have to have a huge change in the way they play. They have absolutely no points in them at the moment and the air tight defense they started the season with is no where to be seen

Our TEAM now has no resemblance to the one who played on ANZAC DAY.

                          WE WILL PURGE THE MERGE.

Judging by past performances, we will probably get beaten by the Cowboys again somehow!!!! Still can't get last year's last game out of mind.

That is the worry - dropping easy games.

If the Roosters had won home games against the two worst teams in the comp (Cronulla and Nth Qld) they would be leading the competition outright.
