I agree, a massive over-reaction. Our halves are playing an exciting brand of football, but they have a long way to go yet.
I loved him and Lam together too.
I thought they were lethal together - but as a combo these two shade them.

We were crap til Gus brought Freddy over, then we made every semi final series until he retired, and post Fittler struggled once again. How many players have ever had such an impact. Even when he had his off yr, we still came 6th or 5th? from memory...Your letting your excitement cloud your judgement
This is the best attack I have ever seen at the club.
That includes the chequebook days with Freddy, Lammy, Barnett, Sing and others.
On paper other teams whoop these guys.
On the field, I have not seen better attack ever by a Roosters side.
It may all fall in a heap but the last month has been unbelievable.

There is no doubting Fittler's impact, it was a huge amount and I believe mostly without the ball in his hand.
But never have I see a Roosters side that could put on tries like they can now, not in the last 15 years.
Its not just Carney, its Smith and I believe its more than that, its a team thing.
But take away either Smith or Carney and the story would be different. The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

I love your passion and attitude! Your comment caused me to laugh.
Good on you mate.
I was going to start a thread titled, "Hope". BS has installed hope back to supporters and the team and sponsors. For that I have grateful. Didn't think hope would be an emotion we felt this year. At best, it would be "hope" for 2011.

I think it's impossible to identify our best attack ever, and it's more an era thing.
Footy's changed a lot over the years, so I don't think it's fair to compare the strength or tactics of the players. Since today's players have more science behind their training, they are probably stronger and fitter than the guys we had 40 years ago. That said... compared to the competition of the time, who knows?
While today's players can also reflect upon 40 more years of footy than the blokes back then, I think it's also fair to mention that the rules have changed, so it's also a different game we're talking about.

Cooper is a spastic and as much as i have supported Soward, he will almost be a non factor with money grabbing Sauceman back in the fold, he has driven a stake through the heart of that side, that they will not replace.
