i dont really mind what smith does with the team but imo having koups there in case friend gets hurt it is pretty silly, surely with jr jr carney and braith, IF friend got hurt pearce could go to dummy half and have an extra forward on the bench, but like i said i dont mind either way, smith has surely earnt our trust so far this year

Koups hasn't done anything bad to remove him. You can't have all stars playing. The team is well balanced and it should be left as is. I remember a few months ago, Friend wasn't playing that well, like the rest of course. Now he is going well. Koups has done GOOD!

apart from 2 passes from dummyhalf on the tryline for a front rower to fall over and score i dont see anything good he's done either

I am missing his kicking game. To the naked eye he looks totally useless aiming for the right touchline and having the ball come off the side of the boot end up over the left hand touchline. But the truth is it is all intentional, not even Joey Johns could pull those kicks off so convincingly.
