  • Mitch Aubs won't play

Announced on the Footy Show that he probably won't play but JWH will.

Massive loss IMO. Especially his solid defence. Going to be a big effort on Sunday, whoever replaces him.

    Probably Leulia I dare say

Very big loss. Leilua would be a decent replacement; plenty of depth fortunately.

Hmmm, on the SMH website, it saids Roosters should be 1-17. Doubt that is true.

the word from maubs tonight was he has a fitness test tomorrow(now today) he thinks there is little chance, JWH top bloke, keen as mustard to rattle some cages, he thinks he is playing

If Maubs is out, Myles will push into the backrow with JWH to play upfront

He is a big loss! Myles can cover his defensive workload, but his attack is what will be missed

Damn, bugger and damn some more.
I trust Brian has prepared accordingly for the absence of one of the key players in this resurgent team.

Just like when mitchell and myles where rested in the broncos game it was a good idea because they came nice and fresh and ready to play give him time we NEED him in good condition when it comes to the buisness part of the comp sure it will be a loss against the dragons but young Joey Leulia will continue to impress us

That's what I got from him also although he didn't convince me that he would pass it.

pwn, from what you wrote I've understood that MAubs is not going to play and JWH is going to play. It is just your last comment ("he thinks he is playing") that confuses me.

Maubs will more than likely miss out.

Big JWH was in doubt, but he is confidant "he" will play

Myhungy on the last try scorer this week will have to go elsewhere

Big JWH bursting onto one from 10 out, thatll do.

I asked him at the dinner last night and he said "hopefully".

I reckon he will. Seems like a good bloke by the way.

Smith was saying Conn was in doubt with the flu and JWH and Symonds were available if he wanted to pick them, as for Maubs he didn't mention him.

Its about time Symonds hits form-and then we wont miss Maubs so much
