It's a shame Mitch Aubusson will be ruled out of this match due to injury, but I'd rather him get himself right now for the semi finals.

I think you'll find Symonds has an ankle injury of some kind I was told. He is out for a few weeks. Poor bloke can't stay injury free and get some good form under his belt.

might be time to put Symonds in cotton wool for next season, he has never fully recovered from his knee injury sustained in round 1, he has lost that explosive line breaking ability and without it he is just an average backrower who will struggle to hold down a first grade position.

Drove past the team training and couldn't see Aubusson running with the team.

I did see a tall red head though, which could have been Symonds.

JWH was training with the squad.

if Maubs is carrying an AC joint problem it would be better to just let him rest this week and next against the Sharks, its the kind of thing one decent shot on could rule him out for a decent stint if he is not allowed to recover properly.

let him rest for a week so he can dominate the rest of the year

shame he can't play.. but don't want to let him aggravate his injury especially down the business end of the season

would have loved him to play this one and sit out one of the other games but timing was against us. let him rest.

Ritchie on radio this morning said MAubs will be given until kick off to prove his fitness.

were lucky we have such able replacements, all part of smith strategy?

it wouldn't surprise to see Tinirau Arona as the 18th man today to cover for any late injuries he was pulled from the Newtown squad yesterday, with Symonds definately out of contention and doubts over JWH,Maubs,Masoe we will require a big bopper as 18th man.
