Saints simply steamrolled us up the middle of the park. A major positive was our goal-line defence... a major neg was the amount of errors we made - which i spose the Dragons forced us to make with the constant pressure

Lets put it this way, we kept the BASTARDS HONEST !
Made them work for the win. We don't give up, we play the full 80 minutes and thats the best we can do.
We lost, but as others have said, we can take ALOT out of this loss and alot of clubs will watch this game to pin point their weaknesses, which they have alot of.

It was interesting to listen to warren Ryan stating that the Roosters may have needed todays loss to learn how to beat the Dragons. In 1985 he said the Dogs would never have beaten the Dragons in the GF if they hadnt lost to them in the major semi. In that game they learnt what was required.... i think we did today.

The way I see it - we were always going to lose a game between now and the grand final (if we ever get that far), otherwise we'd need to win something rediculous like 15 games in a row and really - that was never going to happen.
A loss next week to the Sharks would have been a disaster because they're so low on the ladder and wouldn't do the teams confidence ANY good at all, and a loss a week after that also wouldn't be ideal because it's too close to the semis in my opinion.
A 7 point loss to the Dragons is good timing.

We held our heads up and I was proud to be there in the chookpen wearing my Roosters jersey... the Dragons were strong and with the likes of Weyman back were recharged (whereas we were missing some key players.) Would have could have... we kept in touch with the team to beat this season, who completely obliterated us last season. Well done boys for keeping your heads up!
Bring on the Sharkies!!!

Shaun pops the ball up higher and, I think it was Anthony Minicello catches it....your guys win.
I think YOUR Roosters go from $6.00 down to $7.50
That;s about it. If they meet up in the finals again, I'm thinking your blokes will be better for the experience.
Can the Dragons play better than today? I'm not so sure.

First thing to learn is that we made plenty of fixable mistakes, and secondly that we should be focusing now on preparing for the sharks - get over it, fix it, and go again on friday. If we are to be a threat in the finals i personally think that the sharks is a must win game.

A poster re-posting something intelligent he said a few weeks ago, smacks of desperation.
Thankfully I have never had that trouble.
The re-posting something intelligent bit, I mean.

On the plus side, I don't have to choose between the Dragons and the Eels. That stuff puts us Dogs supporters in therapy.
