for the first time in a while we have had an extended preparation for this game and should be fit and ready to fire, some of our best performances this year have come after our bye week.
as long as the weather isn't too bad and we can play an expansive game we should have enough to beat the Titans, if it is a wet slog we could struggle as our forwards have been ordinary in recent weeks.
My take is we weren't prepared to risk Maubs or JWH for Saints or Sharks games. I reckon Smithy was prepared to lose against saints, and the entire team was complacent in simply expecting to beat the Sharks.
Tonight though we are full strength which tells me there will be no complacency. It will be a sudden-death mentality.
The Roosters will be preparing for the next two weeks like semi finals.
Tonight will show us whether we will be a force or not.
I am hoping we win tonight, not just so we can improve our position on the table, but because it will mean that we can actually have an impact once we get to the semis.
If we lose tonight and against Manly and still make the semis, there is really no point in even being there. I don't want to make the semis just to be knocked out in the first couple of weeks. I think our boys can give the premiership a real shake. Tonight will prove if this is to be the case.
