One of the softest things i have ever witnessed on a field.

28th minute. Roosters are getting smashed. Young guys are intimidated and Ford looks like he should still be wearing a nappy.

Turnover.

The team needs the older guys to step up. Experience counts now.

Roosters are on their line. Ball is handed to Perett. Anasta takes it and tells Perett to go dummy half. Anasta rolls ball through his legs. The Lock, Captain and Marquee player takes the option that should have been given to Ford or Graham. Peret runs it up and gets smashed.

Tackle 2. Carney runs it up.

Happened right in front of me and reconfirmed that Anasta is
1 shite
2 not a captain
3 If not soft then definitely not a lock

We were saved by our young guys today especially Carney. Carney or Pearce needs the Captaincy NOW.

sodomite, there are some aspects of what you say that I don't have a problem with as far as Anasta is concerned. I watch Gallen, the best lock in the game by a country mile, and he makes Anasta look lazy. I watch Luck tackle everything that moves, I watch Mateo do some amazing things and some bad things. Then I watch Anasta and whilst he does some good things, I'm just not convinced because he hasn't the work rate of Gallen or Luck or the skill of Mateo.

He's basically alright but I would prefer better than just "alright" for the Roosters 13 but you can't have everything. Anyways, having said all that, I had more of an issue with Ford, Graham and Perrett today.

Stewart had his quietest game of the season and still had better stats than bwaif. Bwaif did nothing today except a loopy one handed forward pass.

More worringly....in a game of Rooster heroes Anasta was wholly absent.
