Yeh it shouldn't have been awarded a try. Matai took a dive and made out as if he had been shot, but Perret clearly made contact with him off the ball and should have been penalised. It was a soft 8 point try as well

I reckon that is 20 bad decisions against us to 2 for us.

The other one for us was Champion being penalised against Souffs.

I was at the game and was shocked with the decision at the time. But after watching the replay at home on slo-mo it was quite clear that Matai went to ground injured after an accidental knee collision with Perrett, and not because Perrett held him back. Perrett actually barely touched Matai with his hands.


It was a correct decision IMO.
