No, I agree with you 100%.

And I also don't know why people keeping talking up this Carney fellow. He has one of the highest error counts in the team.

Errors are important, so we shouldn't be praising the good things he does without highlighting his deficiencies AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY (like people do with SKD).

I've been critical of Carney's defence earlier in the season. At least the guy puts his body on the line and actually gets the shoulder down. SKD is a shirt grabber.

Carney, like Pearce should have a high error count because they handle the ball more than anyone else on the team and they ball are players.

I did say a fit inglis. He's been playing busted for a while.

Im pretty sure he was having a go at you BM. Anyone whos looking for the prefect player in defence and attack is dreaming, Is it so hard for anyone here to acknowledge SKD has done bloody well for us this year.

Nice one So66, but i think it slipped through to the keeper.

SKD has been impressive in defense this season. Don't let his past cloud your judgement of the present

Impressive....oh please. Don't let a hattrick cloud your judgement.

The two tries Manly scored were 1/ he rushed up and a quick pass had Perrett 2 and 1 as has happened many times this year. 2/ He shirt grabbed Lyons, as he does often, who pushed him off and they scored the other.

His attack has been great apart from some brain snaps but his defense is no better than game 1 this year.

I cite matai's try as evidence to the contrary. SKD's "effort" at stopping matai was woefully inadequate. The sooner he gets these kind of half-hearted grabs out of his game, the sooner I'll applaud his defence.

The first try (the inside ball) was Mose's lazy slide defense. Matai was SKD's man, not the inside runner

The second try was a 3 on 2 overlap. He rushed up on Manly's fullback to try and shut it down early, but very quick hands beat him

Not sure how either of these tries were his fault, when he was trying to cover other defenders mistakes!

Yeah it's always other defenders mistakes. His defensive reads have been crap all year. The quick pass that left Perrett 2 and 1 was totally his fault. Stay on your freaken man.

Take a look at the lead up to one of the tries. He goes to grab Lyons and he gets brushed off and they run down field and score. So many times he goes to grab and he gets brushed off. It is a simple fix. Bend down and tackle.

If he defended like Lyons, he would be the best centre in the game. I can take some of those brain snaps when he makes a break.

would love to see the stats for the Lock position. Our Marquee player should be up there if you consider his salary and the hype around his "next freddy" signing. ............should

Great to see SKD going well.

I've been a real hater up until this year but he's finally showing why he was kept around

Yeah but if he attacked like Lyons he'd be the worst centre in the game.
