unfortunatley smith has stuck with koupashitus through thick and thin all year, i cant see him dropping him for the finals.. jaubs is a 100x better defender then him, and will do alot of clean up work around the ruck, that koupashitus doesnt.. we can only hope

Jaubs offers way more options than Koups.
Speed - he mowed down Watts 3 times last night, overall better defence and can cover for Pearce.
It also provides the option of having both on the field during the last 15 minutes when sides will attack us behind the ruck, ie a bit more speed than all big boppers.
Finals are a new comp. I expect to see Jaubs replace Koups this weekend.
Originally posted by The Mack View PostNext week, I'd be more enticed to keep Jorbs in the team rather than Kouparitsas.
Nuuausala played well, Kennedy played well, Hargreaves played well, Mitch Aubusson played well, Braith played well. Perrett played well. Linnett played well. Leilua played well.
Our halves were rubbish, Ryles was rubbish, Myles did nothing other than his linebreak, SKD was inconsistent within a matter of minutes. Graham needs to look for metres rather than a linebreak every run. Paea was pretty run-of-the-mill. Jorbs wasn't great but he was far better than Kouparitsas.
Unfortunately that says absolutely nothing.
Chook.

you silly dago's, Koups is the best option off the bench. Ball playing backrower who can play at hooker. Jaubs is useless because he tries too hard and dosnt relise he is shit, Koups knows his shit and after the cowboys game he definately wont overplay his hand. In Koups we trust

His aint no ball player, his nothing, always has been.
Just remember we were given Koups from Bulldogs FREE OF CHARGE. That's how shit he is.
Anyone on this forum who actually still thinks he has class....your off your head and have no idea.
Who saw the game VS cowboys when Anasta said put hit two fingers up at Koups and said "thats Twice mate" for those penalties.
ONE OF THE WORST!

Kouparitsas was woeful on Saturday night. No doubt about it.
However, earlier in the season he was OK for most part. It seems he is trying too hard to earn a new contract.
If he just keeps it simple he will do better. He has shown that he can do some good things. In his short time with us he was quadrupled the try assists that Jaubs has done with us during his entire career.
Jaubs offers us very little. He may "try hard" but we've had these players before. Eg. Brett Finch.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

Did you see Anasta talk to him after the ref had a chat about offside? He told him "That is twice now" meaning he gave away penalties. Shits me when they do all that hard work, kick the ball downfield and defend like the clappers only for some knobhead to give a soft offside penalty?
He was at marker and put his hands up to indicate he was offside then grabbed the ball carrier. Not too clever.....

If I ever see him try to kick a ball again in the red, white and blue, I'll gladly pay the $5000 and lifetime ban and get him off the field myself.

I'm hoping Trent Robinson will take him to Le Catelans with him.
Problem is, Robinson may have clued onto the fact he's shyte and not even worth an SL contract.
I live in fear of Smith extending his contract and having to suffer the talentless hack for another season or two, whilst we let go of players far more talented than he'll ever be.
