All yr Smith persisted with Koups, come finals time he panics. Koups is an integral part of this team....how good would Anasta go if he came off the bench and played hooker? not any better. Koups should be in the backrow instead of the anastabator, Smith is playing the zorba carnt out of position and expecting him to play like benny elias. I still love you Nicholas.

Some people here jumped on the Koups bandwagon without reason.

Sure, the bloke isn't a good hooker. He is a natural backrower/ 5/8th playing out of position.

To say he hasn't contributed to the team this year is insane.

He has been very average in some games but did pretty well with limited time in others.

I feel for the bloke and wish he plays at least one finals game because he played a role in getting us there.

Just hope Brian allows him to play his natural position of a backrower.

We could do worse than to sign him for another year on a small contract.

Koups is an average back rower. Thats why he got moved on from the dogs. He has had some good moments and had some bad moments!!

Maybe Anasta to hooker instead of Pearce? Sure mitch can pass but he works best with a bit of space and is probably a bit small to be scooting out from dummy half. Plus he would have to make a lot more tackles in defence. At least braith has the size to match it with the other forwards. Definitely BJ to replace braith
