I thought JWH and Kennedy were mighty in the back end of the game.

I think Conn/FPN playing in the middle is NOT the play. If Mosoe plays, one of them is fine but not both.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
    Easts to win

Aside from diving on the ball from the scrum and puttin pressure on Lui on his attempted drop goal FPN was useless. Has been useless since the dragons game at scg. We better hold onto Kennedy

the fact Friend played the last 77 minutes of the match might sway Smith in carrying 4 forwards on the bench next week, we have plenty of options with Maubs/Anasta if we need to cover for injuries.

god help the rest of the competition if we put an 80 minute performance together once again on 25 minutes of dominant football tonight.

Congratulations to all players involved...one of the best ever Roosters fightbacks I've ever seen...to all the knockers and negative carnts...tell me you weren't on your feet screaming for joy when SKD scored to win the game for the Roosters...how can you knock anyone after that effort...

For a young kid, Kennedy was awesome in extra time.

You blokes are tough markers. The Tigers played nearly the perfect 40 mins of footy in the first half and our guys kept turning up and saving tries. We had next to no ball, their kicking game was perfect, their defence brilliant and our blokes held on and held on. Their effort in the first half was what won us the game.

2nd half we got abit of possession and all of a sudden we started rolling forward and the Tigers got tired. We got the job done and that will do wonders for the teams confidence. Bring on next week I say.

Finals is about winning however you have to. Win ugly, win by 40, who gives a shit.

Absolutely correct. At no stage did we try to play touch footy. Tigers played to their strengths. We were on the back foot from when Ellis knocked the ball out of FPN's hands. A couple of times we had a completed set, we made ample metres.

You can't be serious mate. Anasta is a forward, so is Kennedy, so is Friend. They were inspirational. Ryles was also solid.

didnt read and posts since the first, but marty, jwh, myles, conn all put in in the second half

i thought ryles was awesome in the latter stages/extra time, and fpn should be on the fringes(hes not big enough, or as big as he used to be)

jwh, kennedy, conn, myles, and ryles later had good games, the rest need to lift

i usually love your posts, but fpn was at his best when he was on the edges, he isnt anywhere near big enough to be in the front row any more

so i say, mose, or kennedy with ryles to start with conn, fpn, jwh, myles to rotate

it will not be well received but as much as everyone loves maubs (myself included) he needs to do a hell of a lot more work

he is a second rower that still thinks hes playing centre

                          45 tackles, 12 runs for 110 metres.

                          Are you serious?

                          He is awesome.

Agree. Maubs is in the same mould as Bryan Fletcher, Ricko and Fitzy. He is a guy that works his arse off and is capable of very classy and intelligent play. He has really stepped up this year and will be the backbone of our pack for years to come.

i love maubs, but when we are in trouble, hell anytime

MAUBS NEEDS TO DO HITUPS, he isnt a centre anymore, he cant wait out there for a good ball ball, he needs to get the ****in ball ball and run,
as much as i love maubs, he is a waste of a 2nd rower, he thinks hes a centre

                                Correct weight.

He is a great fringe runner but needs to recognise the moments in the game when he needs to help out the forwards with some tough metres.
