  • Looking for recommendations...

    Nice cheap accomodation somewhere near the stadium.

    Tried the Holiday Inn but even with the %25 member discount I'd need to sell a kidney for the family to stay there.

    Anyone got any recommendations?

    Look at deals on wotif.com or lastminute.com , u can usually find something on the cheap there chook

      The Edgecliffe hotel....

      Nothing fancy but great rooms, and just down the hill from Edgecliff station......

        Addisons on Anzac isn't bad. I've stayed there before.

          prob a $15 cab ride to the SFS but as far as value for money goes you'll be hard pressed to beat the Great Southern on George St - about 300m from Central station

          $99 a night - nice modern rooms, flat screen, etc

            Ive stayed here too, not bad, parking out back, and a good pub just across the road., You can walk to the ground from here as well.

                  Try the Sydney Motel 44 New South Head Rd Edgecliff, stayed there on the weekend 4 adults $130.00 nothing flash but after a few beers and a win like that on Sat night it was all good.

                            Had friends stay here before but i think it has changed hands and the prices have gone up a bit but it is only a 5min walk from the SFS.

                              Wouldn't even bother with a cab from there,just hop on a bus at Central or they could even do the traditional downhill walk from the SFS after the game to Central.
