strange decision to let Graham go seeing we have very little depth in the outside backs, maybe Smith has made the decision to train Leilua as a centre/winger over the offseason.
He looked good in the centres at the start of the season.....his wing work however is horrible, ordinary under the high ball, returns the ball at half-pace running sideways, his dummy half running is HORRIBLE compared to the rest of our backs....doesn't fit into our team, a good idea shopping him out.
Phil is slow and has picked up Mini's sideway run with the ball.
He looks disinterested most of the time.
Have to agree with the disinterested part, the past few weeks i've been hoping he'd have a breakout game, find a bit of space to run and generally prove us all wrong, but some of the runs at the line he did last saturday were the softest i've seen in a while (reminded me of Kevin Locke but offering much less in attack and more in defence.)
Phil isn't slow. He is faster than Perrett and a far better defender. He lacks the strength taking a ball up from dummy half or returning a kick. Reading the papers on the weekend mentioned that there were a few players upset at the club, Graham being one of them. He doesn't want to go but we are shopping him around. Not great at this time of the season.
1. Minichiello
2. Naughton/J.Carney/(under 20's fullback forgot his last name, start with K i think)
3. Linnett
4. SKD
5. Perrett
Not bad.
I would rathe Leilua, or someone like Earl (if he was to ever come back), or Cheyse Blair, or Asipeli Fine...someone with a bit of height, most importantly. I wouldn't mind Naughton or Kheirallah at fullback if Minichiello goes down, or Carney on the wing if Perrett goes down. But a back three of Minichiello, Perrett and Carney/Kheirallah will make us very susceptible to the high ball.

I remember reading a 25 word blurb in the Telegraph i think, saying that Phil was being shopped around, but did not want to go anywhere, try Bec and Buzz's two pages of crap in the Telegraph on saturday or sunday, it was on the bottom right hand side of a page.
