I havent been to a semi since 2001......

There are two things I dont do at Finals time. 1. Write Matchups. 2. Go to semis.

Having said that, I may be a chance to break that hoodoo.

But I will not wear the blame if we get flogged. Although I feel I will re-engage my psychoterapist.

mate you missed the joys of 02, 03, and 04....we were all gutted after 01 but to boycott....

It wasnt 01 that did it....I was there in 2000 - and the GF. But it was the 90s...all those semis against the Dragons.....choking against the chokers. I was going to hit it in 2002, but missed out and as we won without me there took it upon myseff to stay away at finals time.

Maybe if I attended teh GFs only in 03 and 04 it would have been a three peat? Going on what my psych tells me thats possible....but anything is with the right meds.

I'm stuck with a function otherwise I'd be there screaming my lungs out helping the boys get home...

I remember about 5 years ago I wrote a thread about the roosters mascot being so stoned before he donned his chicken head I couldnt believe my eyes when I happenned to bump into him in the tunnel of the SFS.
The thread lasted 30 minutes under Nerdys regime.

I sometimes picture Melon as his replacement.
Imagine Melonius performing some WWE moves on the opposition mascots.......
That would get me back to the footy.
